Set him before you — and the steadiness follows from the placement.
“I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”
Reflection
The first verb is deliberate: I have set the LORD always before me. Set — placed there on purpose, and always, as a steady practice rather than an occasional glance. It's the discipline of keeping something continually in view, in front, where the eyes naturally fall. Not behind, not off to the side when convenient — before. And the result follows from the placement: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. The steadiness isn't a personality trait or a lucky calm; it's the consequence of what's been set in view. Keep the LORD before you and at hand, and the being-unmoved follows. Saturday, with its slower pace, is a good day to practice the setting — to put him deliberately back in front, where the steadiness comes from.
