While It Is Called To Day
“But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”
Reflection
Sin rarely storms a wall. It leans on one — daily, quietly — until the stones forget their shape. That is why the exhortation carries a clock: while it is called To day. Not at the crisis, not at the year's turning. Daily. The watch that keeps a soul is the one kept this morning, and again tomorrow morning, and never finished.
